Frequently Asked Questions:
A LeatherWright is a person skilled in creating and repairing leather products. Hand sewing is one of the skills necessary for achieving this goal.
Depending on the repair the average turnaround time is approximately 3-4 days. I do not take any projects unless I can adhere to the time quoted. As a fellow horse person, I realize that if you do not have your saddle or tack, that means less time spent in the saddle. I will provide a hard timeline for your saddle or tack.
Custom-building a bridle takes approximately four weeks. The timeline is dependent on the options you choose. You choose and create your bridle and I execute your desire. All custom bridles are hand-sewn. That takes time. After the bridle is complete, I will do a fitting and attend to any tweaking necessary. There is a 50% deposit on all custom work.
